A Matter of Fakes

So, today is a slow day in news around Stardoll so I'll talk a little about the famous use of fakes. Fakes, what are they? Fakes is the name given to fake accounts used by someone, they can be use to vote, to report, to send gifts and just to annoy.

There are many polemics around fakes, such as using them in MSW to win, like many people did. Althought, there is that one question about this...does Stardoll knows? And if so, what do they do? Some say they track the IP and cancel the participation of the person using them, some say Stardoll can't keep track on the over 400.000.000 members on the website.

Like you can see here a doll using her fakes to win MSW finals for the 3rd time.

 And what about on NCG and/or CG? As an assumed fakes user, my opinion is that it's fine to use in NCG since it's a small importance competition, fakes are a great way for everyone to have a chance to win, but there are some downsides on this such as any crappy doll can win (feel free to see Portugal NCG from 14-8-16, probably the most awfull cover ever) and people use fakes to monopolize the covers.

You can see here, beautifull dolls, well dressed and then that one girl with clown make up. Is NCG for everyone even if they don't know how to dress and put make up? Of course not, NCG is about beauty, representating your country, not embarassing it. I asked some people from Portugal and other countries what they thaugh about this NCG.

 In the matters of CG, I think CG should be won by one's effort and talent, not by the amount of fakes you have. I won both, NCG and CG, and I'm proud of saying that I won CG without a single fake. 

In what concerns to using fakes to bully someone, it's pathetic, those people are just losers with no balls to show their face and try to play superior behind the fake, well guess what, you're just embarassing yourself like the NCG I wrote above. Using a fake account to just mess around at parties is ok as long as you don't bully hard someone, once my mom and I went to parties in a fake and just played around, it was really funny and people get along with the joke.

New HotBuys Scalloped White Swimsuit

So today we have a new HotBuys from Bonjour Bizou, the Pompom Straw Hat costs 16 sds and it's just another hat that doesn't fit in with hair. 

Here's a quick outfit I made using only Bonjour Bizou's items.

What's going on inside Aynana's head

Almost everyone knows Aynana, she's Callie's Crew, won all the contests, she's famous, all good right? But...it's the second time I notice this.

Those are my lastest visits, and then in the guestbook, Aynana's comment..

I noticed this yesterday as well, is this some kind of bot or hack? I won't vote her on anything for obvious reasons, I don't like this kind of cheats. What do you think?

Q1- Among every thophy you have won, which gave you the most pleasure?

A1- Probably being Semi-Finalist on MSW'13, maybe for didn't run at all and still reach the top 20.

Q2- From all of the current Stardoll problems, which one disturbs you the most?

A2- In my opinion, the worst is definitly the duplicators, they take all the credit from the real true designers.

Q3- If you had to pick one outfit for the rest of your life, what would it be?

A3- Some skinny jeans, a black tshirt and white Adidas superstar, hipster but I like it :p

The quest for the 1000 members mission

As many of you might have noticed (probably I spammed your guestbook or chat), I'm trying to reach the mark of 1000 members on my club. During this quest I've communicated with different people, and it's disturbing to see the huge amount that don't even bother to reply. It's sad to see this type of people growing more and more on the website, I mean, yes I'm not a fan of spam but everyone needs help at some point, and the fact that some people literally shit on others it's truly disturbing, mostly new members.

But not all is bad, it's heartwarming to see that some people still have the kindness to help someone in need, and I thank them.

Introducing a new blog

Hello fellow dolls. 

Many of you already know my name so I think I'll pass the part where I introduce myself. This is not a blog about gossips like some other crappy forgotten blogs of Stardoll, I plan on bring you the latest news of the website, some nice interviews and possibly (depending on my available time on the date) some live covering on MSW'16 and it's contestants, I will also discuss commun sense topics like the use of fakes, the usual spam and of course, the hackers and duplicators.
